Our District theme this year is "HELPING ALL CHILDREN GROW INTO GREATNESS." We are looking forward as a staff to fine-tuning our ability to support ALL of our kids as they develop academically, socially, and emotionally. And, there is sure to be a lot of FUN in the process! We plan to use this, our Mustang Minute, as the main vehicle to showcase all of the great things happening in our schools and as a way to deliver to you important information. You can expect to receive this newsletter weekly once the school year commences.

Ready, set, GLOW! Our BFO is excited to bring the Brookwood Glow Run/Walk back! Event to be held at BMS on Friday, October 1st. Registration at 6:30pm with Run/Walk starting at 7pm. $5 per person or $10 per family.
Today and tomorrow are our final two days of our free summer lunch program…let’s see if we can blow our lunch team away by getting as many free lunches passed out as possible!!! Thank you for all those that have been picking up meals!! We are so happy that Brookwood was a point of pick up this past summer and it’s because of your continued support we can do this!!!
Summer Bash was nothing less than a BLAST!! We hope you had a great time. Thank you to ALL those that came out to join in on the fun...that volunteered...and everything else that was a part of this event. OUR BFO ROCKS!! Don’t forget to get your free breakfast/lunch bundle at our middle school today. The lunch ladies are here until noon! This is our last week of our free summer meal program —so we hope you’ll blow these ladies out of the water these next few days with how many meals they’ll be passing out.

Rounding up all our 7th and 8th grade students: Saddle up, you're in for a great school year. Come, join our herd on Sunday, August 22 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Brookwood Middle School and be a part of something GREAT! Students will meet the new principal, Mrs. Franz, participate in leadership building activities, and begin the process of creating a school culture that exhibits greatness. You are the leaders of the school. Help make decisions that will make Brookwood a place you are proud to be a part of.
