Thank you Bloomfield Genoa City Fire & Rescue for spending the day with us at BES. Last week they were scheduled to come but due to the rain we had to reschedule for this week.

Parent Teacher Conferences are right around the corner!! If you haven't had the chance to sign up for a slot with your child's homeroom teacher...do so now! Don't forget that all of our related arts teachers have slots as well!

Our Families in Need program is designed to help out families in our district who are having difficulty meeting the immediate needs of their children. We are thankful for the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry for fulfilling food and toys for our families in need within our community. This year our Brookwood's Family Engagement Team and Brookwood Family Organization will be working together to get clothing fulfilled for our families in need through this clothing drive. What great artists we have at our schools!! Our 2nd graders have finished their Clay Pumpkin Sculptures and we love they’re being showcased at the elementary school.





This week is School Board Appreciation Week! We want to recognize the members of our School Board for their service to our district and larger school community. Our Board plays an important role in ensuring that all of our students can grow into their greatness!

Have you had a chance to scan in your Box Tops?! This is a great "free" way on supporting our BFO!! Set an alarm or a calendar reminder for yourself to scan your receipts in every time you go grocery shopping!! The app is a free download and for those of you that do curbside pick up---all you need to do is email in your receipts and you're good to go with helping our BFO raise funds that help support our schools!! Brookwood Middle School’s first student council meeting is this Thursday after school from 2:40pm-3:30pm. Student council is for students in grades 4-8 who want to help lead school and community events. We look forward to a great year of student council.
