For the first time this year, the Kindergarteners joined together to perform: https://youtu.be/XV6ZAMJGg0o The melody for "I'm Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee" was composed by Colonel Sandford C. Faulkner. We added an extra verse at the beginning. They practiced a steady beat, and worked on expression. They also sang the song "I'm Growing Up" by Mary Alice Amidon. It has been a pleasure working with the Kindergarteners this year. They have excelled under unusual circumstances; it will be exciting to watch them continue to grow musically.

Students in 7th grade health class learned basic CPR. They learned how to apply compressions, as well as how to attach an AED and know this disciplined procedure in life saving skills. Check out the video here: https://tinyurl.com/3x2nh9e6

The Kindness Rocks Project encourages simple acts of kindness in our community. By decorating a rock with an encouraging message, you can brighten someone's day!
Brookwood Elementary art students painted rocks to place in a kindness rock garden in front of their school. The rocks are there for the community to enjoy. If you see a rock that "speaks" to you, you are welcome to take it to brighten your day!
Pictured are Brookwood artists in their Kindness Rocks Project.
Thank you to @HighPrairieLandsapeSupply for donating rocks for our students to continue to build to our #Brookwoodrocks wall. You all ROCK!
