It's time for a picnic!
When: June 6th // 11:30-12 at BES
You are invited to join your child for a picnic lunch on the last day of school. Students can choose to enjoy the school provided lunch of hot dog, juice, fruit, veggies, and milk or join you for your own special lunch.
At 11:15 we will have our 3rd grade parade throughout the building.
All parents and guests will be asked to form a line outside the main
entrance by the bell, weather permitting. If it is raining, parents will
come in and form a line by 4k. 3rd graders will make their way
through the building passing all homerooms and exiting the main
door to the parent reception line. If you will not be attending the 3rd Grade parade please meet outside by the playground at 11:30.
Picnic will end at 12:00. School will be dismissed at 12:25. If you would like to take your child home after the picnic , please be sure to sign out with your child’s teacher. Report cards will either be distributed at sign-out time or sent home in your child's backpack.

Greetings Brookwood Families!
We are excited to once again offer our school supply program, Brookwood Bundles. The teachers have thoughtfully prepared a school supply list for the 2025-2026 school year, and we are pleased to offer an opportunity to purchase these supplies right here from your school!
The grade level supplies will be gathered into convenient and hassle-free bundles. They will include all of the supplies needed for the school year and will be ready and waiting for your child in their classroom on Open House Night in August. There is no need to brave the busy stores and worry if you’ll find all of the items on the list. Our team will take care of all the details so that you may enjoy your precious summer days!
The end of the school year is fast approaching and schedules are filling up quickly. Please take a moment out of your busy schedule to consider this opportunity. Each bundle purchased will help support our Families in Need school supply program. Thank you for your support! 🌿 4K Family Fun at Seno! 🌿
The 4K outreach event was full of smiles, sunshine, and hands-on nature-based learning at the beautiful Seno K/RLT Conservancy! Families explored the wonders of the outdoors together with engaging activities like worm painting 🎨, sweeping the prairie with nets to discover tiny critters 🦋, and an adventurous scavenger hunt 🔍 that had everyone on the move.
It was a joy to see curiosity bloom and little hands busy with big discoveries. Thank you to all the families who joined us—your enthusiasm made the day unforgettable! 💚

According to the US Department of Health and Human Services 1 in 5 children ages 3-17 has a mental, emotional or behavioral disorder. Most common are anxiety, depression and ADHD. 50% of lifetime mental health problems start before the age of 14. During the week of Children's Mental Health Awareness, Mrs. Fitzsimmons will be doing two lessons in each grade level (K-3) on what mental health is, coping skills, self care and mental health vs physical health. Much of this is also touched on throughout the year within our classroom guidance program.
Please join us in supporting Children's Mental Health Awareness Day by wearing GREEN on May, 8th 2025.
