Are you ready to POP into October?
As a service project throughout October, Mrs. Collins’s BMS advisory is collecting pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Please keep those pop tabs, and send them to either school -- all month long! BMS students may drop them off in the band room at BMS or they can also be dropped off to the BES office.
Let’s PULL TOGETHER for Ronald McDonald House!

Families from 4K had such a fantastic time at Apple Barn Orchard last week—it was everything you’d hope for in a classic autumn outing!
The apple cider donuts were warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious—worth the trip alone! We sipped on homemade apple cider that was perfectly sweet and spiced, the perfect complement to the crisp fall air.
One of the highlights was the tractor ride through the orchard. The kids loved it, and the views were stunning with rows of apple trees and golden leaves all around. Apple picking was a big hit, too—plenty of juicy apples ready to be picked right off the tree. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and everything was clearly set up with families in mind.

Today, the Genoa City Joint 2 School District came together to raise awareness for childhood cancer through their annual gold walk — as September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The elementary school students buddied up with the middle school students and did various get-to-know-you activities. Then they gathered to do their gold walk around the middle school. It was a beautiful day to spend time with one another, as a district, and raise awareness for childhood cancer. Thank you to the Genoa City Police Department for joining us and taking some pictures with their drone and the Brookwood PTO for leading our water stations. All funds donated will be given to Kisses From Friends to continue to support our local families affected by childhood cancer.

Mr. Dittner’s 3rd-grade class has been named our BES Be Brookwood Classroom Winner for the month of September! The students in his class consistently demonstrated respect, responsibility, and courage during Guidance, earning them a nomination and then later being chosen for this special recognition.
The Be Brookwood program celebrates students who are kind, safe, and responsible. Each month, one student from every classroom is recognized and rewarded with the opportunity to choose a meaningful prize. In addition, one classroom is selected to receive a certificate and proudly display the traveling Mustang trophy for the entire month.
Congratulations to Mr. Dittner’s class on this well-deserved honor!

We are sure you've seen them around already, but please give a warm Mustang welcome to Heather Hanson, who is joining our custodial staff, and Austin Delgado, who has been a daily sub at our middle school! Go Mustangs!!
