Don't forget! We are collecting pop tabs in support of Ronald McDonald House in Eastern Wisconsin. Families can send in pop tabs to BOTH BMS and BES.
Thank you so much to the students and families who have added to this collection! Keep 'em coming!

*Brookwood Families!!
Are you ready to POP into October?
As a service project throughout October, Mrs. Collins’s BMS advisory is collecting pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Please keep those pop tabs, and send them to either school -- all month long! BMS students may drop them off in the band room at BMS or they can also be dropped off to the BES office.
Let’s PULL TOGETHER for Ronald McDonald House!

🎭 On October 16, our 5th and 6th grade students attended “Katie – The Strongest of the Strong” at the College of Lake County! This inspiring opera told the story of Katie Sandwina — a celebrated strongwoman with the Barnum & Bailey Circus in the early 1900s. 💪 Not only was Katie known for her incredible strength, but she also used her powerful voice to support the Women’s Suffrage movement. Students enjoyed learning about the elements of opera while discovering Katie’s remarkable true story! 🌟

On behalf of the Genoa City School District,

we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your support of our Gold Walk in September. Your generous donations to Kisses From Friends Pediatric Cancer Foundation helped us raise awareness and funds for local children and families affected by pediatric cancer.

As our Mustang family says, “From Hoofbeats to Heartbeats—we are fighting pediatric cancer together.”

Thank you for standing with us in this important cause and for showing our students the true power of community, compassion, and hope.

With gratitude,

The Mustangs

Students in Mrs. Erickson's 5th-grade science class took advantage of the great weather last week and moved their learning to the school forest. They were challenged with finding as many different kinds of leaves as they could and then classified them in different ways, such as size, color, and shape. It was a great afternoon of learning!

Our 6th graders continued to rise to the challenge on day 2 of camp — tackling team activities, outdoor adventures, and new experiences that tested their perseverance and teamwork. 💪
We wrapped up the night around the campfire, celebrating the effort, determination, and positive spirit our students showed throughout both days. 🌟

So proud of our Mustangs for embracing every challenge and making memories that will last a lifetime! 💙
