Yesterday was the start of Women's History Month, where we celebrate all of the important contributions women have made to history. The main entrance hallway wall at the middle school was transformed overnight into a colorful periodic table of important women! Students are encouraged to stop and take a look to see how many of these influential figures they can identify.

Today is National Read Across America Day, and this day takes place on the birthday of one special author...any guesses? Today is Theodore Geisel’s birthday, more commonly known as Dr. Seuss! Take some time today to read, as all of America will be, and check out our book fair for books from Dr. Seuss and many other great authors as well! www.scholastic.com/bf/bms3
Also, don’t forget about our teacher’s wish lists! If you would like to donate a book to a teacher’s classroom library, check out the lists here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jmChUU0JHAJRGdVjRXRs3mtylaMDS_Z5CYoEjB9h7Ik/edit?usp=sharing

Did you know that today marks the first day of National Reading Month? What better way to kick off this month of reading than to get a book from the book fair? There is one more week left of the online book fair, so make sure to check it out if you haven’t yet. Let’s make it a great month of reading, Mustangs! www.scholastic.com/bf/bms3
